Legendary Brit pop band Cast, originally formed from two of the most lauded guitar bands from the eighties head to Electric Brixton on Thursday 18th December

After a dispute with The La's Lee Mavers, John Power who made up the rest of the band decided to split which saw him form Cast. After gaining a break in 1994 supporting Elvis Costello, they signed up with Polydor records and started producing with John Leckie who worked with the Stone Roses, producing hits that are adored across the globe such as 'Live the Dream' (below).

The band went on to produce four albums, with their 1995 long player All Change gaining double platinum status, most remembered for their adored hit 'Walkaway', which you can listen to below. Noel Gallagher most notably described a Cast live performance as 'a religious experience', highlighting the Brit Pop maestro's standing on par with Blur and his band Oasis

The band reformed in 2010 to commemorate the All Change 15th anniversary perfuming across the UK and America where they gained cult status earlier in their career, for their sixties infused catchy pop guitar hooks that led to so many special hits.

These performances led the band to completely reform, releasing a further album Troubled Times in 2012 which reignited their fan's affection for the band. Grab your tickets here.
