Tickets now on sale for Back to Basics with James Zabiela

Lovable Leeds rogues Back to Basics reconvene once again at the Warehouse in July with another of their most celebrated guests of yore on headline duties. This month’s humdinger was helmed by the king of boompty bump Derrick Carter but the responsibility falls to a saviour from these very shores this time round, light fingered whiz-kid James Zabiela.

The forever young Zabiela may well be a veteran in the game but he still steps up to platter with the same youthful abandon that has always characterised his sets, blending technical ingenuity with an ever morphing palette of sounds. Add to that a stage presence which just reaks of enthusiasm and it’s not tough to see why he is still heralded as a don. Check out him destroying the Boiler Room below late last year as evidence of him bringing the ruckus via a sonic arsenal that includes his now trusted iPad.

He’ll be joined by Jozef K, the heartbeat of the now sadly departed Sankeys in Manchester, and local hero Denney.
