Tim Burton's Universe by Mystery Ensemble

When: Friday 30th October, 7pm - 8:45pm

Where: St Mary's Church, High Pavement, Nottingham, NG1 1HN

St Mary's Church will host Mystery Ensemble as they bring Tim Burton's phenomenal cinematic repertoire to life. With arrangements from Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas and more, music from Danny Elfman, acclaimed film composer and Burton's lifelong collaborator, will fill this beautiful, Grade I-listed church on Friday 30th October; what a hauntingly magical start to Halloween weekend.

Big Fat Rave x Psyked: HALLOWEEN / Saint Ludo, N4TEE, Che3kz

If you're looking for a solid night out, Big Fat Rave has you sorted. Afta Dark - Halloween w/ Emily Nash

Afta Dark hosts underground events every Saturday, but this Halloween special is set to be big. "No gimmicks. No distractions. Just great music, great people and a packed dancefloor" - Emily Nash, the Worcester-born DJ and producer, is certainly going to bring this to Nottingham's Secret Vault on Halloween night. Expect an intimate crowd, Nash's signature house, inspired by mid-2000s Ministry of Sound, and high energy all round.

Haunted 2026 (Loughborough)

Hopping over to Loughborough for this one, just a 22-minute train ride from Nottingham city centre, where Lost in Music are hosting Haunted on 30th October. Kicking off on the Friday at 11pm, you won't miss out on Halloween night in Nottingham. Echoes nightclub is undergoing a full venue transformation, including a haunted house, graveyards, live performance actors and bringing banging music from Disco Divas, Italia Rhythm, Matt Horwood and more across two rooms.

Taking over a huge new warehouse space in Nottingham's industrial quarter, Square One Halloween is hosting the city's DnB's biggest rave on 30th October. The lineup includes Kanine, Delta Heavy, Oko and will run from 6am - 2am; that's 8 hours of non-stop raving with top-quality production, with lights, lasers, visuals, scare actors and more. Family Outdoor Cinema - HOCUS POCUS 2 (Derby)

When: Thursday 29th October, 3pm - 6pm

Where: Electric Daisy, 1-4 Bold Ln, Derby, DE1 3NT

If you're looking for something more family-oriented, fancy an alcohol-free form of spooky fun, then Electric Daisy is showing Hocus Pocus 2 on Thursday 29th October. Cosy up for this special outdoor screening of the sequel to this witchy classic; the film starts at 3:30pm, and tickets require you to bring your own camping chair.
