The Pointer Sisters added to Fiesta x Fold Festival line up

Soulful R&B group The Pointer Sisters have been confirmed to join Glasgow's Fiesta X Fold showcase, which will take over Kelvingrove Park on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July.

The Pointer Sisters are known for some of the biggest pop songs of the 20th century, including 'Jump (For My Love)', amongst many others.

Disco legend Nile Rodgers and the gloriously groovy Chic are curating the massive summer weekender, alongside the already announced funk originals Earth, Wind & Fire.

Chic can count some of the genre's biggest and most recognisable hits amongst their back catalogue, with iconic guitarist and songwriter Rodgers known not just for the likes of 'Le Freak' and 'Everybody Dance', but also as writer and producer for a whole host of other artists.
