Closeup Comedy returns to the incredible FarGo Village for another instalment of the Midland's best comedy night! Expect 5 of the best comics on the circuit, alongside award-winning street food, cocktails, and pitchers of beer - plus DJs playing in between the show; Sounds like a belting day out to us!

The bill is no joke either. The rampantly dark and hilariously straight-talking Freddy Quinn is hosting, alongside the razor-sharp Mike Cox, huge rising star Simon Wozniak, and Live At The Apollo star and seasoned funny gal Helen Bauer heading up proceedings. Festival Of Comedy

Where: Tredegar Park in Newport

Another year of laughs is on the way as The Festival of Comedy returns to Tredegar Park on Sunday 16th July, and wow oh wow is the lineup a special one! Huge names fill out proceedings with the likes of Milton Jones, Tom Davis, Mark Watson, Rhys James, Maisie Adam, Ivo Graham, and more performing.

This one is close to selling out, so if this lineup is tingling your funny bone, then you're going to have to be quick to secure it, especially if you're local to Newport. You won't get a better live comedy event in the area all year round!

The absolute king of hilarious northern drivel, Jamie Hutchinson, is bringing his new hit tour, Waterslide, all around the country, and this show in the attic looks set to be an interesting one. Letting all the Southerners in on a real slice of northern piss can energy, Jamie never leaves a room without at least half of them needing tissues for the laughter and tears. 

Whether it's his viral Dr Catford story from the Have A Word podcast, or any one of his insane stories, Jamie has quite literally led a crazier life than any of us would ever even want to lead, and his comedy is all the better for it.
