Hal Cruttenden: It’s Best You Hear It From Me

When: Sunday 30th April 2023

Where: Old Fire Station in Carlisle

Hal Cruttenden is a well known name in the Biritsh comedy scene, having appeared on the likes of Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You, The Royal Variety Performance, and Would I Lie To You to name a few. Over the last eight years, he has extensively toured the Uk and took his funny bones across the world, and now he is back touring with his new special.

After 21 years and 224 days Hal's back being single. But it's all going to be fine. Instead of getting the therapy he clearly needs, he's made a cracking show about it. He's lost enough weight to almost get his wedding ring off and, while he may be flying solo, he's far from alone; he's got his grown-up daughters, his dogs and his divorce lawyer. The fickle finger of fate has turned Hal's life upside down but he's sticking a finger right back at it.

Sophie Duker: Hag

When: Sunday 19th February 2023

Where: The Leadmill in Sheffield

Recently shooting to fame due to her hilariously honest approach to sex and relationships, being nominated for best newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringer in 2019, and through a string of TV appearances on the likes of Live At The Apollo, and most notably her series of Taskmaster, she has won the hearts and laughs of many, and is now heading out for her biggest tour yet.

Smirkingly titled 'Hag' the tour outlines Sophies metamorphosis into the confident, self-assured, and redefined woman her twentysomething self would never have dared believe she could be. Throughout the show, she shares, amongst other things,  a chaotic true story from the recent past, when Sophie chose to get on a cruise ship with seven hundred older lesbians, leaving her long-suffering boyfriend on shore? It's as funny as you've ever seen her and ont one to miss.

Adam Rowe & Friends

When: Sunday 14th May 2023

Where: Alexanders in Chester

Everyone favourite scouse comedian and one half of the enviably amazing Have A Word podcast, Adam Rowe is putting on a string of Work In Progress tour in preparation for his upcoming UK tour, and he has invited some of his closest comedy pals along with him to iron out their sets as well.

Whilst many will mostly be aware of Adam thanks to his podcast and the numerous viral clips pulled from it, his stand up is just as funny, if not even more. In the past Adam has commented on his dissociation with a group he was once a happy part of, the fat community; mused on the absurdity of terrosrism, particularly Liverpools unsuccessful taxi bomber; and has most recently made an entire show about his ex and her absurdly fraudulent actions that caused their split. Basically, you're never prepared for what he has to say, but you can guarantee it's going to be hilarious and unsuspectingly insightful. Plus, he's mates with some of the best coming comics in the biz, so those who get announced alongside will be equally worth the price of admission.
