'The Drop': a new event series supporting music industry mental health

Headstock and Skiddle have teamed up to bring a new event series, 'The Drop', to Manchester to support mental health in the music industry. With some big headliners heading to new party spot, Amber's, check out more down below!

Music and mental health social enterprise Headstock and leading ticketing platform Skiddle have teamed up to launch a brand new event series; 'The Drop', which will help to raise funds for a number of charities that exist to support the mental health of people working within the music industry. The Drop has already been received well, with support from one of Manchester's biggest raving spots, The Warehouse Project. Who will also be celebrating the positive impact that music, connection & shared experience can have on our mental & emotional health.

Set to take place at one of Manchester's newer multiroom club spaces, Amber's, the series will happen every month on Thursday evenings from 6 pm to 11 pm for a mid-week rave experience. The Drop will launch with a three-event series named Spring Season, which will start on Thursday 27th March 2025, with a huge headliner; international DJ and producer, TURNO who will bring a high energy-focused rave.

Then on Thursday 24th April will be a takeover from Scottish duo LF SYTSEM with their Coffee Table Sessions concept, where partygoers can expect a lovely 3-hour set of non-stop disco-infused house. The Spring Session will then finalise on Thursday 15th May (during Mental Health Awareness Week 2025) with an unmissable set from Manchester's house icon DJ Paulette.

Aiming to shine a light on the power of music, connection and shared experience when it comes to maintaining good mental health, this is a brilliant cause to get involved in and show up for.
