Music is a great healer, so Skiddle and music mental health platform Headstock have teamed up for a monthly series of events that emphasise mutual connection, emotional wellbeing and shared experience. The events will be taking place at one of Manchester's best new club's Amber's.
The first of these events takes place on Thursday 27th March, with Turno headlining the event. Each one will take place on a Thursday night, starting at 6:30pm and ending at 11:00pm. Ahead of his headline set Turno said;
“I started ‘What’s On Your Mind?’ because of the tragic loss of my brother “Fabio” to suicide, due to mental health related illnesses. I wanted to turn that pain into prosper – and use my platform to raise awareness that’s it’s OK not to be OK and how to combat these feelings of darkness. It’s been amazing to see the people we’ve reached over the past three years and the breakthroughs we have had. That’s why we are super excited to team up with The Drop on this event to reach even more people with mental health awareness in the music industry.”

The second event is on Thursday 24th April with Scottish party-starting duo LF System. The pair had this to say on their involvement with The Drop;
"Partnering with Headstock and Skiddle felt like the perfect moment to hold our first ever Coffee Table Session in a proper venue. We’ve always wanted to provide a space for music to be played and danced to with freedom, expression and the people at the forefront of the experience and we can’t think of a better fit to get started."

"Taking care of ourselves, our mental health and looking out for our family, friends and colleagues are the strongest foundation stones for building strong communities. Music and dancing is a simple but beautiful way to bring people together, to connect, to unify and to entertain whilst moving our bodies, lifting our spirits and freeing our minds. It’s all about the wins here. See you on the dance floor.”
