The Catalan capital may be better known across the planet for spawning arguably the greatest football team ever in recent times, but not far behind in its accolades is piloting some stellar dance music. Sonar remains one of the most alluring festivals and conferences the genre can muster, but equally as revered is the series of parties that exist separately at the time of the festival, OFF Sonar.

One of those key institutions has been FACT, a party that has taken the world by storm in the short space of two years. Their prowess as an all year round promoter gets special focus for that heady week in June with a series of essential pool parties, but they’ve since taken their sound further afield. Heading across the sea to Ushuaia in Ibiza, they’ve also rocked up in Belgium, Berlin, Croatia and EXIT festival in Serbia.

And add to that list our very own capital, where this Saturday they will touch down at Egg London. They will be bringing a number stellar guests with them this week, Anglo-Italian duo Audiofly, Detroit techno legend Kevin Saunderson, and Teutonic icon Timo Maas among them, alongside a selection of their own residents. With Egg London’s notoriously cosmopolitan crowd it’s all set to be a gallantly European affair, the perfect atmosphere for some scintillating house and techno.
