Scottish band Peat & Diesel has announced the first edition of Black Isle Belter will come to Black Isle Showground in Muir Of Ord on Saturday 25th - Sunday 26th May 2024 (May bank holiday weekend). Sign up for tickets now.

The guitar music festival, which is around a 20-minute drive from Inverness, will be headlined by Peat & Diesel on both days with fellow Scottish band The View (read our recent interview with them) as main support on the Saturday, marking their first Highland show in years.

Chart-topping band The Feeling join as the main support on Sunday, the family day, which also boasts activities including Boydie’s Bingo, Tug O War with Innes, and Crazy Golf with Uilly.

Both days of the festival will feature all the good stuff - a funfair, street food, bars, the P&D Trucks, and Calum Dan’s Van, the true star of the show. Run by Beyond Events, which brought Aviemore Stopover and Loopallu Festival, Black Isle Belter is set to be amazing.

Uilly of Peat & Diesel says, ‘We’re not only delighted to announce our biggest headline shows but excited to have two days of music and fun with you all in the Highlands. We’re overjoyed to have both The View and The Feeling come along and join us for these shows, bands that have been bringing you belters for nearly 20 years. The Highlands has been a very special place for us as a band over the last 5 years and we wanted to come back with a bang, well two bangs!’

The Sunday family day is brought to music fans in conjunction with the main sponsor Highland Industrial Supplies, and charity partners MFRs Cash for Kids and Mikeysline.

Just 20 minutes from Inverness and already with three widely-respected names on the lineup (with many more to be announced soon), if you need tickets foir this bank holiday bash, sign up for tickets now at the very bottom of this page ready for when they go on sale tomorrow (Friday 27th) at 10am.
