Oktoberfest to return to Glasgow's East End later this year

Once again hosting the most diverse beer festival in Glasgow’s East End, Oktoberfest will make a return to Barras Art and Design in October.

Oktoberfest will make a return to Barras Art and Design (BAaD) later this year. Dubbed the most diverse beer festival in the East End of Glasgow, Oktoberfest brings revered beers from across Europe along with award-winning Scottish breweries to Barras Market on Saturday 17th October 2026. 

Like with last year, over 15 breweries will be represented alongside a slew of local talent and a traditional Bavarian Oompah band. The 2025 edition, which like previous iterations has been continuously held at Barras, boasted vendors like Beavertown, Jubel, Thatchers, and Paisley-based brewery Two Twos Down, alongside music from Chris Ashton and Dirty Old Town. This year promises to bring that magic back to Barras once more.
