Borderlands Festival arrives at Carlisle Castle in Cumbria on Friday 8th - Saturday 9th September 2023 with Happy Mondays, Eats Everything, Patrick Topping, and more. Tickets available now.

Showcasing the best current music and legendary artists from indie, house, techno, disco, and dance, Borderlands brings amazing talent to the stunning backdrop of Carlisle Castle, featuring battlements that survived raids and held Mary Queen of Scots.

The lineup is split, so music fans who want to shuffle, dance and two-step can head down on Friday, and fans of guitar music can head down on Saturday. If you simply love live music whatever the genre, grab a weekend ticket to see exactly what Borderlands is all about!

One of the fest’s main goals is to showcase the wonderful southeast region. As such, there’s plenty of local talent on the bill, like Newcastle’s Patrick Topping and Novablood. Joining them over the weekend is Friendly Fires, KiNK (live), Nightmares On Wax (DJ), Sarah Story, Beth, DelaGrave, Happy Mondays, Eats Everything, and Ki Creighton of Carlisle’s Uber nights.

Celebrating more than just the region's music, the fest is also welcoming some of the finest artisan food and drink outlets from around the area, including Cumbria.

Just over a ten-minute walk from Carlisle Train Station and with a few car parks nearby, Borderlands is super easy to attend to enjoy some of the best music from huge names and local talent. Secure your tickets now!
