Monument Festival 2025 reveals first wave of artists

Following a sold-out first year, Monument Festival returns bigger and better than ever, and they’ve just revealed the first names to be gracing Herrington Country Park on Saturday 19th July 2025. Spanning two stages, the open-air festival is a glorious day of indie, alt, and rock with a host of brilliant bands and artists. 

So far the acts on the Main Stage include indie rock veterans The Fratellis, South Yorkshire quartet The Sherlocks, and lyrical rockers Yard Act, as well as The Twang, Pastel, Afflecks Palace, and The Rolling People. Over on the Waves stage are Red Rum Club, Porij, Ist Ist, The Rosadocs, The Jacques, Mickey Callisto, and many more.  

Monument Festival first took place last year, building on the legacy of fellow Herrington Country Park event Kubix Rock. With a lineup as good as this one and plenty more names yet to be revealed, Monument Festival is shaping up to be one of the North East's premium days out this summer.
