You can't always be prepared for everything. Whilst many New Years Eve tickets are sorted well in advance, every now and again we end up leaving it to the very end, whether it be down to not being able to round the troops or suddenly hit with an impulse to go a lot bigger than planned.
There's still a huge number of London NYE options available for those wanting to get on it late doors, everything from all-night techno workouts to lavish pop music soirees. Here's a selection of some of the best New Years Eve tickets still on offer in the city.
Down at Kings Cross club Egg London, there's a gut-busting techno workout promised. Belgian queen Charlotte de Witte, who has had a scintillating 2018, will headline, bringing her rapid-fire assaults through synth-driven melodies and rolling beats.
Support for her comes in the shape of Luigi Madonna, Regal and Tobi Neumann.
Club de Fromage takes over the 02 Kentish Town Forum for a London New Years Eve all-out party. The soundtrack is feel-good pop music from the ages, alongside chart dance, indie and old school hip hop and R&B, making sure the music is as reliably good fun as the rest of the antics.
And on that count they deliver too, with a pyrotechnics show at midnight, confetti cannons, giant balloons, and tonnes more, making this the silliest and most fun party you'll find in London this NYE.
The only club in London that can call on a heated swimming pool and a hot tub, the Aquarium is running a twelve-hour party for NYE this year for those looking to saunter in luxury until the clock strikes twelve.
Musically the main room boasts R&B, hip hop, house and garage, with the second grooving to dancehall, afrobeats and reggaeton. Throw in confetti cannons, laser shows and a plethora of drinks options and you're talking about an NYE to remember.
