Last Chance To Dance: Five huge events happening this weekend

It's finally the weekend and we have much to celebrate this weekend. Whilst the government is collapsing, at least Boris Johnson is going and we can celebrate that until we realise who his somehow even worse replacement is. We'll pour one out for one of the UK's worst-ever Prime Ministers.

Stanton Warriors/DJ Woody/Mini Da Minx

When: Saturday 9th July

Where: Kanteena, Lancaster

This weekend the Acme Bass Company are excited to present a line-up of wall-to-wall dance music. They'll be bringing Stanton Warriors, DJ Woody and Mini Da Minx all to Kanteena in Lancaster. With the party starting at 3pm with a BBQ in the yard, the party will start soon after with a host of other guests appearing too.

Flava D: The Residency

When: Friday 8th July

Where: XOYO, London

This is the second week of Flava D's residency at XOYO in London. After a huge first night, they're looking to fill the floor once more. Presented by Weird Science, this club night of huge drum and bass sounds will also feature some special guests as two rooms of the venue are to be filled full of ravers.

Nightmares On Wax + Leftfoot DJs

When: Friday 8th July

Where: Hare and Hounds, Birmingham

Nightmares On Wax will be performing a DJ set at Birmingham's Hare and Hounds this weekend where he'll also be joined by Leftfoot DJs. The Leeds-born producer is unquestionably one of the best funk/disco House DJs around and we can't wait to get dancing to his selections this weekend.

Horse Meat Disco and Supernature DJs

When: Saturday 9th July

Where: Joshua Brooks, Manchester

Horse Meat Disco have been seasoned veterans of the dance genre for ages now. They bring you the very best in Disco sounds and their sets always turn into full-blown parties. A group who seem to bring joy wherever they go, you'll be in good hands if you get to this event in Manchester this weekend.

3e presents: Boys Noize

When: Saturday 9th July

Where: Junction 1, Glasgow

In Glasgow this weekend you'll be treated to a set that will feature Boys Noize playing for three hours straight. An all-day event that will feature other names such as Brain Dancing and Quail, get your dancing shoes on. Summer day parties don't get much better than this.
