Here we've put together a list of some of the best Hip Hop, R&B and Dancehall events in London that you can buy tickets for right now.

London is known for its huge musical culture, with all sorts of weird sounds to be found. It's also a brilliant place to find all things R&B, Hip Hop and Dancehall. So, we've got a lot of events on in London over the next few months that are centred around these genres and we thought we'd give them a bit of a spotlight. 

With all three genres being so popular at the moment, you'll definitely find that one of these events is your kind of thing. Click on the titles to learn more information.

Hip Hop vs RnB- NYE

When: Friday 31st December

Where: Secret East London Location

This New Years Eve why don't you completely immerse yourself in a night of Hip Hop and RnB with some amazing guests. On the decks on the night will be DJ Semtex, Sian Anderson, DJ Cable and Sarah Harrison who will be looking to get you moving. If this wasn't enough then they still have two more special names to announce.

This should be one of your go-to NYE events and even better it's shrouded in mystery as the venue is yet to be announced.

Hip Hop vs Dancehall- NYE

When: Friday 31st December

Where: Secret East London Location

If RnB is definitely not what you're wanting to hear on NYE then you can swap it out for Dancehall at this event that is also keeping tight-lipped on where it'll take place this year. The DJs on the night for this one being Ras Kwame, Robbo Ranx, DJ Cable, DJ Raskal and The Shejay.

A limited capacity of 150, this is an intimate party with big names that sees a clash of two genres for a night of massive sounds.

Hip Hop vs Dancehall Carnival Boat Party

When: Sunday 28th August 2022

Where: Golden Jubilee (Boat), London

What's better than having a Hip Hop and Dancehall party? Having one on a boat of course and they'll be dressing it up in the carnival spirit so you can have the best time dancing all the way down the Thames. It's been a long time coming that the carnival has been able to be full force in London.

With five hours for the genres to face-off, this will be a night of amazing tunes and beautiful views of the capital.

Hip Hop vs R&B Bank Holiday Boat Party

When: Sunday 29th May 2022

Where: Golden Sunrise, Victoria Embankment

After four sold-out boat parties last year, it looks like 2022 will be no exception as Hip Hop and RnB come together for an absolutel mad cruise through the middle of London. With CJ Beatz and DJ Cable already announced to be playing the event, keep an eye out for more names to be added.

From Westminster to Greenwich, the views will be interrupted by the sound of crushing bass commanding you to take to the dancefloor as the party gets going.

Smif-N-Wessun: Dah Shinin 25th Anniversary

When: Thursday 14th April 2022

Where: The Jazz Cafe, London

Smif-N-Wessun is one-quarter of Boot Camp Clik and they'll be bringing a night of classic hip hop to London's Jazz Cafe. Emerging in 90's Brooklyn alongside names such as Biggie and Gangstar and helped to shape the blueprint for hip hop in the years to come. 

Now they'll be playing a show to celebrate 25 years of Dah Shinnin, their debut record and you can be there to experience it in person. Don't miss out on tickets for this one.

The Brand New Heavies

When: Wednesday 9th February 2022

Where: Boisdale of Canary Wharf, London

The Brand New Heavies are back after selling out a show in Boisdale in 2021 and they now have a new album's worth of material to bring with them too. The recently released TBNH will be incorporated into this year's set and features appearances from Beverley Knight, Angie Stone and more.

A group responsible for some of the UK's biggest R&B/Soul tracks, here is a chance to experience their acclaimed discography in person.

Omar & Friends

When: Thursday 6th January 2022

Where: Boisdale of Canary Wharf, London

MBE Omar Lye-Fook will be joined by some special guests at Boisdale in Canary Wharf. One of the greatest Soul names in UK music history, he has however encompassed many genres throughout his career such as R&B, jazz and Disco. With a huge list of collaborations, you can count on some of them to show up here.

Here his songs will be mixed with classic orchestral sounds to give them whole new scope and breadth. This will be a wonderful evening.
