As one of the highlights of the Croatian festival season, SuncéBeat has positioned itself as a master of the soulful, enticing attendees from more than 40 different countries with their shared love of quality music. The sheer class of artists on offer combined with the uber-chilled, anything goes atmosphere has consistently served to make SuncéBeat one of the highest regarded festivals in Europe.

The line up as ever is bulging with soul-inspired greats, so it's with great difficulty that we managed to pluck five must see acts from across the week of 22nd - 29th July.

Roy Ayers Ubiquity

Possibly one of the greatest living soul, funk and jazz composers, Roy Ayers Ubiquity have been responsible for decades worth of seminal records, pioneering a jazz funk scene that has felt its influence in everything from pop to hip hop. With tracks like 'Everybody Loves the Sunshine' and 'Running Away' (above) in their arsenal, We can't imagine anything else sounding more fitting on the Dalmatian Coast.

Black Coffee

The multi-award wining South African DJ and producer Black Coffee has been plying his trade with great effect in his home country since the mid-nineties, whilst more recent times have seen his sound reach worldwide, becoming one of the most influential living African musicians, using jazz and soul references in his irresistible house output. Check out his set in the Mixmag Lab to see why he's so widely revered.

Andrew Ashong

Ranging from the more dancefloor savvy sounds of 'Flowers' through to the soul and jazz inspired rhythms of his self titled EP, Andrew Ashong's musical sensibility leaves most other producers in the dust. He's also an accomplished DJ, meaning you'll get a huge variety of deep and groove-filled sounds that will warm your heart and move your feet.

Floating Points

Floating Points DJ sets are pretty much the stuff of legend. His musical depth of knowledge is immense, whilst his own productions manage to be both fun, mature and exhilarating, often all at the same time. His grubby, floor focused, trippy aesthetic is summed up perfectly in 'Nuits Sonores' (above), a 12 minute dancefloor epic that does damage whenever it's played.

Late Nite Tuff Guy

A firm Skiddle favourite, the Australian producer, disco aficionado and edits master has seen him re-imagine untouchable material and dress it up with plenty of dancefloor oomph whilst at the same time show respect for the original. His label Tuff Cuts has been rapturously received, and his DJ sets continue to ignite dancfloors across the globe - his set is a festival must.
