There is an abundance of excitement to be found in this week's Days Out With Skiddle. We have some amazing events in 2023 that will surely tempt you in. There are events to see out 2022 with too such as ice skating in Southport and a new year's eve celebration in Leeds.

Dinomania Dinosaur Show Cardiff

When: Saturday 18th March 2023

Where: Llanishen Leisure Centre, Cardiff

Who doesn't love dinosaurs? Join ranger Chris and his dinosaurs, who you might recognise from their appearances on Britain's Got Talent. Now you can meet them and learn more about each one in one of the UK's best interactive dinosaur shows. They also have one of the largest mobile dinosaur museums.

Count Magnus: Two Ghost Stories by M R James

When: Wednesday 21st December

Where: The Continental, Preston

The Continental in Preston will be hosting theatre shows of two novels by M R James. Not for the faint hearted, both are spine-chilling stories. The first is called Count Magnus and follows a chase from Sweden to Essex and the other is called Number 13 where a hotel room with the famously unlucky number holds a dark secret.

Bavarian Christmas Ice Skating Village

When: Saturday 3rd- Friday 23rd December 

Where: Victoria Park, Southport

A Bavarian ice skating village is coming to Southport this year and it'll be packed full of entertainment. The skating itself will be in a fully heated marquee whilst there will also be German food and beer available. There will also be singers, DJs and more to give you a party atmosphere.

The Great Western Tattoo Show

When: Saturday 29th- Sunday 30th July 2023

Where: The Steam Museum, Swindon

For just £15 in 2023, you can sample the best in tattoo art that the West has to offer. You'll find a wide range of artists who have their own style and you can browse them all to your heart's content. Prepare to be immersed in the tattooing world and get some inspiration for your next one.

Manchester Craft Brew Festival 2023

When: Friday 19th- Sunday 21st May 2023

Where: Victoria Warehouse, Stretford

We hope you like tasting the best craft beers from independent breweries because the Manchester Craft Brew festival is happening in May 2023. Taking over Victoria Warehouse, this promises to be a fun day out where you can sample cider, wine, proseccos and spirits too. There will be interactive workshops throughout the day and live music.

Hotel Anfield Presents Kostas Tsimikas KT21 Launch

When: Sunday 18th December

Where: Hotel Anfield, Liverpool

Kostas Tsimikas has become a cult hero at Liverpool. Dubbed "The Greek Scouser", he has become a fan favourite and has his own song that's sung from the Kop. He'll be launching his new clothing range at Hotel Anfield where there will be a special guest and Liverpool reporter James Pearce will doing a Q+A.

Chow Down: New Years Eve

When: Saturday 31st December

Where: Temple Arches, Leeds

Chow Down's winter village has been the go-to place in the city for festive fun and that won't change for their New Years Eve event. There will be a staggering selection of food and a glass of fizz on arrival. To cap off the year there will be a big party under a disco ball too.
