Bastille to headline brand new seaside festival in County Durham

Soundwave is a brand new seaside festival in County Durham going down in July. Bastille is one of the confirmed headliners. Here’s everything else you need to know and how to get tickets.

The English pop band behind hits like Pompeii have just been confirmed to headline a new festival at Seaton Reach in Hartlepool, Soundwave Festival, on Sunday 30th July 2023. Sign up for tickets at the bottom of this page.

The festival location, Seaton Reach, is less than an hour's drive from Newcastle-upon-Tyne and less than half an hour from Middlesbrough.

The family-friendly festival welcomes Bastille as headliners, one of the biggest live bands on the scene right now with singalong pop bangers including Pompeii, Good Grief, Of The Night, Things We Lost in the Fire, Bad Blood, and just about a million others.

Joining the English pop outfit is joined by cracking local talent including Zela, Finn Forster, Michael Gallagher, and We Tibetans, and two more headline artists who’ll be announced soon.

When you’re not getting down to fresh indie and pop sounds, you can explore the giant fun fair and the food village, laugh until your sides hurt at the comedy tent, and let your littluns have a whirl on the rides.

Considering the amount on offer and of course the size of Bastille, tickets for this one are such a bargain.

Presale tickets go on sale this Monday (1st May!) at 9 am and general sale on the same day at 12 pm.
