On the run up to the hugely popular and successful Radio One's Big Weekend, BBC Radio One Academy hosts a long list of free events in this year's location city of Hull. Bringing Big Weekend performers to a more intimate setting of the Albemarle Music Centre, this is your opportunity to see some huge acts performing exclusively for absolutely free.

Joining hip hop fanatic and BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ Charlie Sloth, rapper and previous Big Weekend performer Professor Green will sit in front of an audience and delve into the ins and outs as well as the ups and downs of his extensive career.
