Elrow Scotland

Elrow Scotland takes place Saturday 26th September 2026.

Elrow Scotland is held at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, Edinburgh, EH28 8NB.

Elrow Scotland will run 12pm - 11pm and last entry is 6pm.

Elrow is much more than a normal dance event. It is a fully immersive party filled with incredible stage design, performers, characters, confetti, inflatables and surprises.

You must be 18 or over to enter Elrow Scotland. ID may be required.

Elrow Scotland's 2027 theme is Hallucinarium — a colourful, surreal world where music, art and imagination collide.

Dressing for the Hallucinarium theme is encouraged, but outfits must not contain anything dangerous, offensive or capable of concealing your identity during security checks.

Full-face masks, replica weapons and sharp accessories are not permitted.

Yes, the three stages at Elrow Scotland are indoors. However, some facilities and routes between areas may be outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the Scottish weather.

The Main Stage will feature the full Elrow Hallucinarium production and décor.

Can I bring a bag to Elrow Scotland?

Yes, but bags must be no larger than A4 size. All bags will be searched on arrival.

Please avoid bringing a bag unless it is essential, as bag searches can delay entry.

Will I be searched?

Yes. All customers are subject to security searches as a condition of entry. Additional searches may also take place inside the event.

What items are prohibited?

Prohibited items include:

• Illegal drugs or psychoactive substances
• Weapons or anything that could be used as a weapon
• Glass bottles or glass containers
• Cans
• Alcohol or other liquids
• Refillable bottles
• Aerosols
• Fireworks, flares or smoke devices
• Laser pens or laser equipment
• Professional cameras or recording equipment
• Selfie sticks
• Large flags, banners or poles
• Chairs or folding furniture
• Umbrellas
• Nitrous oxide canisters or balloons
• Bags larger than A4
• Suitcases
• Full-face masks
• Anything considered dangerous by event security

Confiscated items may not be returned.

Can I bring perfume, deodorant or cosmetics?

Small non-aerosol personal items may be permitted, subject to search. Glass containers and aerosols should not be brought to the event.

Can I bring a refillable water bottle?

No. Refillable bottles are not permitted.

Can I bring a professional camera?

No professional cameras, detachable lenses, drones or professional recording equipment are permitted without prior accreditation.

Small personal cameras and mobile phones are permitted.

Can I wear a costume?

Dressing for the Hallucinarium theme is encouraged, but outfits must not contain anything dangerous, offensive or capable of concealing your identity during security checks.

Full-face masks, replica weapons and sharp accessories are not permitted.

Will there be a bar?

Yes. There is one big main bar at Elrow Scotland serving alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and water.

Can I pay with cash?

Yes. Both cash and card payments will be accepted at the bar. Cash transactions will generally be quicker, so we recommend bringing cash if possible.

Will food be available?

Yes. Food vendors will be available at the event.

Is free drinking water available?

Yes. Free drinking water will be available on site.

Are there toilets?

Yes. Toilets, including accessible toilets, will be available.

Is there a cloakroom?

Yes. A cloakroom will be available on site.

Can I smoke or vape inside?

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the halls. Please use the designated smoking area.

Can I bring my own food or drink?

No outside food or drink may be brought into the event, except where required for medical reasons.

Will phone charging be available?

Yes. Mobile charging units will be available to purchase from a stall inside the event.

Accessible entrance routes, accessible toilets, first aid and a welfare/chill-out area will be available at Elrow Scotland.

Most of the event area at Elrow Scotland is on even ground, although some surfaces and external routes may be uneven.

No. There is no dedicated viewing platform as Elrow Scotland is a multi room event with no specific headline act.

The event team will, however, endeavour to help customers identify the most suitable and less crowded viewing positions where possible.

Yes. Accessible toilets will be available within Elrow Scotland.

Yes. A welfare/chill-out space will be available at Elrow Scotland. Customers should be aware that this is a large dance music event with high sound levels throughout the venue.

Yes. Elrow Scotland will use flashing lights, lasers, strobes, theatrical effects, confetti and loud music.

Limited seating will be available in designated rest and welfare areas at Elrow Scotland, but this is predominantly a standing event.

Yes. Elrow Scotland is strictly for people aged 18 and over.

Yes. Elrow Scotland operate a Challenge 25 policy, so please bring an accepted original form of photographic ID:

• Valid passport
• UK photocard driving licence
• PASS-approved proof-of-age card

Photographs or copies of identification will not be accepted.

Yes. Please download your ticket before travelling to Elrow Scotland and have the QR code open with your screen brightness turned up when you reach the entrance.

Phone reception may be limited when large numbers of people arrive at the same time.

Yes, Elrow Scotland tickets are transferable.

Only use the ticket provider’s approved resale facility. Tickets bought through unofficial sellers or social media may be invalid, duplicated or already used.

Please go to the ticket help desk at the entrance. You may be asked to show your booking confirmation.

No. Once you leave Elrow Scotland, you will not be permitted to re-enter.

No. All Elrow Scotland tickets are general admission.

Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled, subject to the ticket provider’s terms and conditions.

The Royal Highland Centre is located beside Edinburgh Airport at Ingliston, approximately eight miles west of Edinburgh city centre.

Happy Bus and Lothian Transport will operate bus services for Elrow Scotland. Please check their official websites and social media channels for routes, departure points and booking information.

The nearest tram stop to Elrow Scotland is Ingliston Park & Ride. Please check Edinburgh Trams for current service times and allow time to walk from the tram stop to the event entrance.

Yes. Event parking is available in the North Car Park at the Royal Highland Centre.

Please follow event signage for Elrow Scotland and the instructions of parking stewards when you arrive.

Happy Bus will be providing buses from multiple locations in Scotland to Elrow Scotland.

The designated car and taxi drop-off and collection point for Elrow Scotland is in the North Car Park.

Please arrange to meet your taxi in the designated area rather than immediately outside the event entrance.

Please arrange your return journey before arriving. Taxi demand will be high when Elrow Scotland finishes, and public transport services are likely to be busy.
