EXODUS MOVEMENT SOUND SYSTEM

Exodus Movement Sound System returns to Level Up Bar for another proper Roots & Dub session.

Exodus Sound System was started in 1976 by members of Pendeford Youth Club, from the Wobaston and Fordhouses area of Wolverhampton, by the children and friends of the legendary Count Barley Sound.

With deep roots in Wolverhampton’s sound system culture, Exodus has carried on the tradition of heavyweight Roots Reggae and Dub, following in the footsteps of sounds such as Coxsone, Jah Shaka and Fatman Hi Fi.

Over the years, Exodus has been part of the local movement, bringing the original sounds of artists such as Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs and Lee Perry to Wolverhampton.

Now they’re back at Level Up Bar.

Expect heavyweight Roots & Dub, deep bass and a proper sound system atmosphere.
