Sandy Roundabout Club

The Roundabout Club or locally known as ‘The Roundy’ is one of the best venues in not just Sandy but also Bedfordshire. With live and exclusive entertainment provided every weekend, offering 2 pool tables rated one of the best in the area, 2 snooker tables, or 4 dart boards to our unique outdoor cocktail bar we offer something for everyone. Full Sky & BT sport is shown on both our projectors located either side of the club and on all our 4K TVs including the one built into the bar! Upstairs a full renovation has taken place and now not only offers fantastic space to offer not just our ever growing of over a 1,000 members but we have put a huge emphasise on creating a room that access to all, whether this be bigger and better entertainment nights, a place where local communities can gather for catch up sessions to offering coffee mornings for the elderly and vulnerable with an access for all room being created. In today’s society access for disabled or vulnerable groups are often limited or overlooked. This creates a barrier for attending events they would like to but can’t, due to venues not providing adequate facilities. So one of our main aims is to offer a much easier access to our club offering those an easier way to attend events that they previously may not be able to in sandy. Hence the name of this project as ‘an access for all room.’ The club took advice from many companies and have formed a partnership with Sheridan lifts who will have built and installed a lift that is purposely built for us at the club. This will offer access from the ground floor to the first floor. This is located on the side of the building and opens up into a lobby on the first floor. A brand new easy access disabled toilet has also been fitted upstairs with facilities for baby changing if required.
We are also delighted to reveal a brand new bar area which will follow the design of our downstairs bar. We have numerous new lines available and some that are not available in other places in Sandy! At the club we pride ourselves on our history, back in the 1920’s the club was once a hub for local entertainment with its exclusive cinema screenings housing a capacity of up to 400 people. This was known in the area as ‘The Victory Cinema’ with this in mind The re-branding of our function room will be re named ‘The Victory Suite’. We plan on promoting live and exclusive entertainment in the former cinema. This is a brilliant new facility that holds a maximum of 200 for a standing event, the stage has been fitted with new lighting and sound to enhance each performance. We are more than just a club!
