Sylk Hi Fi Lounge

Hear the music - not the room. Inspired by Japan’s famous listening bars, Sylk HiFi Lounge is a new breed of Essex lounge bar where everyone can meet, relax, and enjoy an immersive music experience. Boasting a state-of-the-art sound system and regular events featuring guest DJs, Sylk is a place where like-minded individuals can come together and enjoy music in a way that you’ve never experienced before. Located in the basement of the Shoeburyness Hotel, our cosy venue has been acoustically perfected to surround you with sound so rich in clarity, it feels like the artists are right there with you. We could spend all day talking about our amazing set-up is but it really needs to be experienced in person to understand just how good it really is. Drawing on our extensive experience in the HiFi and cinema industry, we’ve built a unique system from the ground up which means that it is completely unique to us and the only one like it in the world. For all the DJs out there, our system is fully set up for vinyl, CD and digital DJing and comprises of a daytime HiFi and night time hybrid system of micro line array pa and studio monitor speakers. We use modified technic 1210’s and a Bozak rotary audiophile mixer as the centrepiece and have migrated over 20,000 tracks onto our Innous Zen. We also have the capability to stream Tidal in HiFi and master quality.
