Straight outta Kwa-Thema, South Africa, KEBRA ETHIOPIA make their long-awaited journey to the UK for their first ever UK sound system session!

Founded in 2005 by selector and operator Lekentle Mohlala, aka Doc Inity, Kebra Ethiopia (Glory to Africa) have spent over two decades building a movement deeply rooted in roots reggae, Rastafari culture and African identity. Originally established as The Poor Man Movement, their journey began with free community gatherings in the townships, using reggae music as a force for unity, solidarity and positive change. More than just a sound system, Kebra Ethiopia represent a philosophy of African pride, cultural consciousness and community upliftment.

Through their celebrated 'Survival' sessions, Kebra Ethiopia continue to carry the message of roots, culture and resistance, bringing people together through the universal language of reggae music. With a distinctive musical identity and a deep commitment to the foundations of sound system culture, Doc Inity and the Kebra Ethiopia family bring a truly special experience to UK shores. Expect heavyweight roots selections, deep dub vibrations, conscious messages and an authentic celebration of African sound system heritage. This is more than just another dance – it's a meeting of cultures, a celebration of musical heritage and a chance to welcome one of South Africa's most respected roots reggae sounds to the UK.

Tickets for this session are limited and we expect to sell out in advance. Please secure your ticket as soon as possible to guarantee your spot in the dance.
