🏰 As darkness creeps in on All Hallows' Eve, Report 005 of The Science Of Music: The Blood Rave transforms SAWAN into a Victorian Gothic castle, where music, theatre and immersive storytelling become one.

🕯️ Wander through The Hall, where House, Dance and Commercial music fill the castle, before descending into The Crypt, where Techno and Trance echo amongst coffins, hanging bodies, haunting scenery and live performers. Every corner has been crafted to draw you deeper into the night.

💀 Victorian Gothic attire is encouraged. Vampires (VIP) will receive complimentary custom-fit vampire fangs*, while Acolytes (General Admission or GA) will receive a blood pendant**, marking their allegiance to the court. * Guests choosing to wear the vampire fangs must use only the adhesive supplied with the product and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Make & Ingredients:

The fangs, made of resin which is safe and tasteless, come in 4 sizes: 13mm,15mm,17mm,19mm. Each pair comes in a sealed clear casing, with a small pocket of professional temporary dental adhesive beads.

How To Apply:

Place the adhesive beads into hot water (provided at the venue) until they turn from white to clear. Remove, press onto the fake fang to create a mould, then apply the fang to your teeth. Leave to dry for a few minutes.

** Any stage blood provided should also be used as directed.

Make & Ingredients:

Mehron Stage Blood is commonly used by pros in Hollywood and on Broadway since 1927. This formula is non-toxic and can be used in and around the mouth safely. Crafted with a syrup-based formula and thick, honey-like consistency for an authentic look and feel.

How To Use:

Apply to the skin or on top of prosthetics. The stage blood will not dry, allowing it to drip slowly and remain shiny. Safe for use in and around the mouth. Can be used with blood capsules to simulate bleeding. Can be used in the mouth or broken open on other body parts. Product may stain. Pre-testing is recommended. Remove with soap and water.

• Custom-fit vampire fangs and blood pendants are complimentary gifts and remain yours to keep, whether used during the event or taken home.

• Hot water will be provided for fitting the vampire fangs. Guests should exercise caution when handling hot water to avoid burns or injury.

• Guests are responsible for checking the suitability of these items before use, including any allergies or sensitivities. By choosing to use them, you accept responsibility for their application and use.

Freedom Sessions emerged on 17th May 2020, founded by House of 9 (Dominique Paul), director of Freedom Creative Studio in Plymouth. While the world stood still, a new venture took shape, one designed to reconnect with the outside world through the language of rhythm. Each chapter carried its own theme, blending multiple genres into immersive DJ sets performed in striking, often symbolic locations. What began as a personal experiment has since evolved into a multidisciplinary platform, expanding into radio, podcasts, and live events that merge sound and visual storytelling into one cohesive experience.

SAWAN, founded by Deano G (Dean Gilbert), opened its doors in 2024 and quickly established itself as a key player in Plymouth's nightlife. Vibrant, creative, and strategically located, it has become a hub for renowned DJs, respected labels, and memorable weekend events. Beyond the dance floor, SAWAN hosts private hires and its signature Open Decks concept every Tuesday, giving emerging and established DJs alike a platform to share their sound.
