Review of Groovebox X Trancecoda Presents Paul Van Dyk [LAST 10 TICKETS]
This is Trancecoda, a good trance brand that has been running for many years, and this is the 7th Trancecoda event that I have been to and the 1st in Nottingham. Paul Van Dyk was the main set of the night, mixing trance, hard trance and techno from eras old and new. The nightclub, The Level, is purpose built and fairly lush inside. The production (lights/visuals) is probably the best I've seen for a nightclub and there were 12 RGB lasers. 4 is considered plenty, so seeing 12 put to good use by the light jockey was amazing! The atmosphere was really nice, having not previously known anyone there but got chatting and hi-fiving with lots of people on the dance floor :-) Pints and doubles+mixer were all £4.90, so very reasonable for club prices in a city centre.

Nice, neat set up. Not overcrowded even when very busy. Easy to get served at the bars, easy access to toilets and outside area. Sound system also extremely good.
