Review of Word Up Chill Weekender
Paid £50 to essentially be stuck in a pub car park for the day. It was a really nice pub and everyone was friendly but none of the advertised acts played and then there was a power-cut at 7pm. There was no event organiser around to let us know what was going on, which would have been greatly appreciated. The staff at the pub were great but also had no idea what was going on. Had to convince my friends not to leave on the Saturday and stick it out, but by the end of the first night I had also had enough and left on Sunday morning. Massive disappointment. Can't believe that there are still day tick*ts on sale for the Sunday. I don't think I am being unreasonable asking for a full refund as I paid £50 entry into a pub and camped on the side of a road. Thanks, can't wait to hear back from you.

Review of Word Up Chill Weekender
Absolutely terrible. Me and my friends are now at home. We camped next to our car along with another half a dozen people on Friday night, where we just sat in the pub where no one but locals were. Come Saturday morning there was a tiny bit of music but not a single artist the was advertised was there eventually there was a power cut. No one was available to talk to about the issue and we have spent money for going to a pub.
We camped on a dirt track
We heard no music
No One was there
There was no power
The people in the pub didn't realise there was a 'festival'
Not one person advised us on the issue or offered an explanation
Our bank holiday weekend is ruined
I'm now at home looking at their website where they are saying it still possible to go to the festival where there's no artists no power no staff no crowd and a pub unaware of anything happening.

Review of Word Up Chill Weekender
Should not have been advertised as a festival. This was not a festival. It could barely be considered an event at all. None of the listed artists turned up to perform and there was a power outage on the Saturday night at 7pm leaving the venue with no power whatsoever. I essentially paid £50 to be stuck in a pub car park with nothing going on and we had to leave early because it was so terrible . This was a scam. I am extremely disappointed and want a refund.
