A massive line-up of DJs are upon Newcastle to kick off the bank holiday weekend for Velocity 'Bank Holiday Special' Friday 23rd August 2019. Fans of beer are called upon the Bier Keller for a celebration of true Bavarian atmosphere and antics for Stein Bier Keller Oomparty!, bratwursts will be eaten, steins will be drunk!

The frontman of Dexy's Midnight Runners will be performing at the Great Northern Soul Boiler Shop with Kevin Rowland. An all-dayer of will be taking place with music from the 3-piece group M-Town and The Odels at Motown at the brewery.
