Review of UltraVegas 30th Anniversary (Part 1)

It was my first time to this venue and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. To start with -  The big car park, as I don't drink, I drove and it was nice to be able to park close to the venue itself. Secondly-I found all staff at the venue to be friendly, from security through to the lovely lad taking your coats. Fourth - Food vans - there were three mobile food vans to choose from, all looked nice, however I'd have liked to have seen a healthy choice, rather than beige food. Fifth - Music, there were three different music rooms to choose from, although the middle one was more of a hallway/throughway & a little on the small side, but a good selection to choose from, great DJ's. Six - Toilets, both mobile toilet block & inside loo's were
all clean, working & didn't run out of toilet roll throughout the night, bonus!
Seven & my only negative - Tokens, If you wanted to purchase drinks or food you had to pay with tokens. The Que for that was outside & nobody informs you of this until you try to purchase a drink at the bar & only to be told you have to go back to where you came in to purchase the tokens. Each token brought, was equivalent to £8, meaning every individual drink/food you brought at the bar/vans cost £8. If you're a non-drinker, it was a very expensive purchase. I wanted to buy a bottle of water, however this option was not available . They only supplied tap-water (free), however this presents a risk of my drink potentially being spiked & I was travelling to this event on my own and felt a little more vulnerable. The option of bottled water is som**hing I think they need to look at, moving forward, along with the option of buying a hot drink at the van, with token value/purchase price set a lot lower, to enable one to make a small purchase such as the above. 
Overall a great time was to be had & yes I would recommend.

What an event!! Absolutely amazing.... Atmosphere and Vibe was electric .... Can not wait for the next one
