It was absolutely ridiculous that you couldn’t take your own food or drink in, we had our children with us and had to empty their water bottles and chuck away bottles of drink we’d bought with us for them. Then the food places charged £2.50 for a bottle of water or £10 for a burger, fair ground rides £5 each, extortionate. The organisers really let themselves down with their stupid rules and we weren’t given an explanation as to why we couldn’t take our own drinks of flavoured water in.
Complete and utter rip off and has actually made us not want to attend next year which is a real shame.

Review of MKF FESTIVAL

Great day out, toilet facilities could have been better, clearer for people and more hygienic 

This was a great event. We’d definitely go again

Ticket price was reasonable but the food and drink was beyond expensive , the option of taking a picnic in would be good also more gluten free options would be good just something like chicken in rice with a sauce we have a fussy 14 year old who is type one diabetic and coeliac.  Other than this it was a brilliant day

Entrance not permitted after 19:30 . I had tickets .
No mention on the confirmation email , tickets or app … 

I had a disabled friend with me and the toilets were too far from main stage and the security would not let my friend use the vip ones 

Did the two days at MKF and had the most amazing weekend, love the idea of recycling the plastic cup saved on a lot of rubbish being left at the end 👍🏻 Couldn’t get my head around not being able to take in a small bottle of water that should be refilled free as it’s still very hot weather and that would help with keeping hydrated but Marshall’s and security and toilet monitors were friendly and did a great job throughout the weekend, lucky didn’t have the need for paramedics but good to know they were on hand and the lost child station was a very good idea even for meeting place for big kids if got separated 😝 price of ticket is fantastic  for whole day event and easy to purchase, drinks are over priced but is quite normal at festivals, I feel lower prices of drinks you would get more sales. 
Maybe some activities for the kids as a long day, crafts, bouncy castles etc….. 
Overall would highly recommend this event to anyone of all ages, Thank to the organisers top job 👍🏻

The event itself was very enjoyable and something for all ages. I did try to ask a few stewards if they had a timetable of when bands were on but no one I spoke to had any idea so had to keep going from one field to another to see what wax going on.have never been to Milton Keynes before and could not see any signage at all to the event which would have been nice.
Like zny event the soft drink prices were high at £2 for a bottle of water but hey thats  outside the remit of the event people. Bit annoyed tho as the website said that even empty containers were not allowed in so had to buy a bottle to start with to refill

Glad we didn’t book VIP tickets. People in there looked like caged animals and no direct access to be at the front of the stage. You still had to leave the area. With the exception of toilets and own bar didn’t see what benefit it gave those people. We heard the public portaloo’s were cleaner.

Should have had a program or leaflet so people knew who was on where and roughly what time. Only way you found out was at the end of the sets on the main stage.

Just teething problems and things that could easily be sorted.

Great cheap day out.  Bands really good.
