We’re pleased to welcome the Chris Bridgett Band to The Snug on Saturday 5th December 2026 for a special night of live music in Atherton.

Manchester-based songwriter and guitarist Chris Bridgett has carved out a distinct and enduring legacy in the city’s music scene. Rising through the ranks with legendary post-punk outfit Dub Sex, he went on to score record deals with Rude Club before forming The G-O-D, earning a support slot for The Stone Roses at Wembley Stadium.

Following the success of his critically acclaimed trio Cold Water Swimmers and their celebrated debut album Holiday at the Secret Lake, Bridgett launched his solo career with his 2024 album Speedboat on Chapel St, further establishing himself as one of Manchester’s authentic musical voices.

Now entering a new chapter, he leads the Chris Bridgett Band - a heavyweight trio featuring dynamic drummer Brian Grantham (Slaughter and the Dogs) alongside David Gleave (Gustaffson) on bass.

Blending raw guitar work, sharp songwriting and decades of unfiltered life experience, the band hit the ground running with an incredible, critically praised debut show.
