The Spinners Club

The Spinner's Club is a new Manchester music night built around one simple idea: the people who shape the scene should have somewhere to meet, experiment, discover new music and actually interact with each other.

This is not just another night built around a flyer and a line up.

We're bringing DJs, producers, artists, photographers, videographers, promoters, labels, radio, record shops and genuine music heads into the same room, to build a community around the night from day one.

Expect emerging selectors, unreleased tracks, left field choices and music that might not usually get tested on a packed dancefloor. Expect conversations with the like-minded people stood around you. Breaking down the barrier of front and centre, and making it about what's coming out of the speakers.

For a section of the night we're introducing a new format (Three Spins) where DJs and producers get short bursts to create a moment, take risks and get live reaction from the room.

The rest of the night will open out into longer sets and proper dancefloor time.

The idea is for The Spinner's Club to become somewhere people come because they trust the room, the music and the people in it, regardless of who is on the flyer.

If you make music, play music, shoot it, promote it, write about it, release it or just genuinely care about discovering something new, this night is for you.

This is night one.
