Postmodern power-duo BIG TROUSERS bring their explosive live show to The Eagle Inn for a special Manchester headline performance. Blending spoken-word chaos, wiry post-punk grooves and progressive rock theatrics, the duo have built a reputation for unpredictable, high-energy sets packed with surreal humour, social satire and existential dread. Since forming in 2023, they’ve shared stages with acts including Man/Woman/Chainsaw and Heavy Lungs, carving out a uniquely eccentric space in the UK underground scene.

The show comes in support of their sophomore EP, WHAT WE TALK ABOUT WHEN WE TALK ABOUT THE INTERNET — a frantic, absurdist dive into online relationships, failed stardom, doomscrolling and digital-age obsession. Expect acrobatic guitar work, off-kilter storytelling and a set that swings wildly between the hilarious and the unnervingly relatable.
