Nightstop Manchester Volunteer Celebration and Open Evening

Nightstop is a same-night emergency accommodation service that support young people in crisis. 

Young people at risk of rough sleeping are matched with trained and vetted volunteer hosts who offer a place to stay in the spare room of their home. As well as a bed for the night, Nightstop hosts provide meals, washing facilities and a friendly, listening ear. During a young person’s stay, Nightstop teams work with them to address the underlying issues that have led to crisis point and help find longer-term solutions. Through Nightstop, we can prevent homelessness and change the course of a young person’s life.

Our Nightstop Manchester volunteer celebration and open evening is a chance for:

• current volunteers to celebrate their impact in 2026
• those who are interested in volunteering to meet current volunteers, find out more about Nightstop, and explore opportunities to get involved
• organisations supporting young people facing homelessness to find out more about Nightstop

Our open evening will be a relaxed, drop-in style event with refreshments provided!
