The Word Zoo - Nomadic November - Poetry, Live Music & Open Mic

The Word Zoo: Poetry, Music & Open Mic

The Word Zoo is a welcoming night of poetry, live music and open-mic performances, bringing writers, performers and audiences together for an evening of words, rhythm and connection.

Whether you're ready to share your work or simply want to enjoy the performances, you're welcome at The Word Zoo.

Open-mic performers can have a slot of up to 8 minutes and perform with or without the house band, Vibe Machine. Spaces are limited, and sign-up takes place on arrival. Please arrive early if you'd like to perform. A slot isn't guaranteed if the list is full.

The evening also features a guest performer, our Book Raffle and the Boomerang Poem.
