Paddington The Musical

About Paddington The Musical

Paddington The Musical at the Savoy Theatre brings Michael Bond’s much-loved bear to the stage in a new production based on the iconic characters from the books and the award-winning films. Directed by Luke Sheppard, with original music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher and a book by Olivier Award-winner Jessica Swale, it follows a small bear from Peru as he arrives in London in search of a new home.

When Paddington meets the Brown family and finds his way to Windsor Gardens, the story turns to the risks they face when his life is suddenly put in peril. The production presents the story as a stage musical, with songs and choreography, and keeps Paddington’s familiar marmalade-filled world at its centre.
