An all-new members club with a difference has just opened it’s doors in the heart of St. James. Low Members Club is a return to nightclubs that are all about dancing, offering a truly underground experience, but so secretively tucked away that it is strictly for those in-the-know.
Brought to London by David Serlui and Andy Giorgini, Low is the West End’s best kept secret, accessed through the back entrance of a restaurant and tucked away down a hidden staircase. Low’s edgy design includes a ceiling embedded with thousands of glowing LED lights and larger block lights and a black padded leather bar. Plush leather banquettes and booths surround the dance floor area with jars of Low’s own confectionary on display in traditional glass.
Music is truly the central ethos behind Low, and you will regularly hear the tunes of renowned international DJs taking to the decks on a weekly basis. Low also delivers the finest in up and coming DJS, often largely unknown to Mayfair scene, but well respected from Tokyo to Detroit. Their Wednesday night Kontrast, will feature special guest DJS flown in from all over the world creating a warehouse vibe but in boutique surroundings.
Cocktails at Low fuse the classic with the contemporary using the freshest ingredients. Particular favourites to try include the Rum Raisin Martini, an exotic mix of Rum Pampero Especial, Grapes, Crème de Cassis, Vanilla Syrup and Lemon Juice, and the signature Lotion shot (Ketel One Vodka, Cointreau, Crème de Mure, Lime Juice, Orange and Pineapple). There are also innovative drinks Combos, offering packages of bottles and shots which just keep on coming, as well as the delicious Low Club sandwich for the perfect midnight snack. It also has to be clarified that when you really intend to splash the cash, Low has one of the most upmarket champagne menus you are likely to find anywhere, so no matter how extravagant your taste, Low will most certainly provide for an evening to be remembered.
