Swan Lake

About Swan Lake

Swan Lake at the London Coliseum brings Chile’s Ballet de Santiago to the UK for the first time for a one-week run. Set to Tchaikovsky’s score, this production presents the classical ballet’s story of love, betrayal and devotion through the company’s staging and choreography.

Prince Siegfried falls for Odette, a princess cursed to live as a swan by day. Their story unfolds in a struggle against evil as love is tested by sorcery. The production features opulent sets, sumptuous costumes and choreography shaped to present the ballet’s drama and elegance.

Under the artistic leadership of César Morales, former principal dancer with English National Ballet and Birmingham Royal Ballet, Ballet de Santiago brings technical precision and expressive artistry to one of the best-known works in the classical ballet repertory.

Duration: 2 hours 10 minutes, including one interval.
