English National Ballet’s Nutcracker at the London Coliseum follows Clara on a Christmas Eve adventure through Edwardian London, from Drosselmeyer’s Sweets & Delights Emporium to the Land of Sweets & Delights. The production features over 100 dancers and musicians, with Clara swept from a glittering Christmas party to a battle with the Rat King, before reaching the ice realm and the Sugar Plum Fairy’s celebration.

This acclaimed production returns to the London Coliseum with choreography by Artistic Director Aaron S. Watkin and Olivier Award-winner Arielle Smith. Dick Bird’s sets and costumes frame Tchaikovsky’s score, performed live by the English National Ballet Philharmonic. The production has been described as “Vibrant” by the Financial Times and “astoundingly pretty” by The London Standard.
