About Nutcracker
Nutcracker at the London Coliseum is English National Ballet’s festive production of Tchaikovsky’s ballet. Set on Christmas Eve in Edwardian London, it follows Clara from Drosselmeyer’s Sweets & Delights Emporium to a journey through a glittering Christmas party, a battle with the Rat King, an ice realm and the Land of Sweets & Delights.
The production features over 100 dancers and musicians. Choreographed by Artistic Director Aaron S. Watkin and Olivier Award-winner Arielle Smith, it uses sets and costumes designed by Dick Bird, with the English National Ballet Philharmonic performing Tchaikovsky’s score live.
Reviewed as “Vibrant” by the Financial Times and “astoundingly pretty” by The London Standard, this acclaimed production returns to the London Coliseum for the festive season.
