About Nutcracker

Nutcracker at the London Coliseum is English National Ballet’s festive production of the classic ballet. Set in Edwardian London, it follows Clara from a visit to Drosselmeyer’s Sweets & Delights Emporium into a journey that includes a Christmas party, a battle with the Rat King, an ice realm and the Land of Sweets & Delights.

The production features over 100 dancers and musicians. It is choreographed by Artistic Director Aaron S. Watkin and Olivier Award-winner Arielle Smith, with sets and costumes designed by Dick Bird.

English National Ballet Philharmonic perform Tchaikovsky’s score live. The production has been described as “vibrant” by the Financial Times and “astoundingly pretty” by The London Standard.

Running time: 2 hours, including one interval. Music: Tchaikovsky’s score performed live by English National Ballet Philharmonic.
