About Kinky Boots

Kinky Boots comes to the London Coliseum in a new production starring Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe. Based on a true story and the much-loved film, the musical follows Charlie Price as he tries to save his family’s shoe factory and his love life, with help from Lola, a drag queen with an unexpected solution.

The show is a multi-award-winning musical with music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award winner Cyndi Lauper, a book by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein, and direction by Nikolai Foster. It won the Olivier Award for Best New Musical and ran on both the West End and Broadway.

Kinky Boots is at the London Coliseum from March 2026 for a strictly limited 17-week season.

Current cast

Johannes Radebe stars as Lola. Due to an unforeseen family matter, he will not perform on 26 June 2026. Lola will be played by Tosh Wanogho-Maud at the Thursday 26 March matinee, on Friday 26 June, and at all Monday performances from 6 April to 6 July.
