The Lomax

The Lomax is set to return to the forefront of the local music scene after the original building re-opened its doors to bands. Radiohead, Supergrass, The Verve and Oasis were just some of the acts who filled the Cumberland Street venue as it became synonymous with the emerging britpop scene in the early 90s.And it also played home to Merseyside acts such as Pete Wylie, Ian McNabb and Ian McCulloch among others. Now, after an absence of more than a decade, bands are returning to the Cumberland Street building as well as other music events giving you a eclectic genre of musical tastes. Situated between Dale st and Victoria St only a Five minute walk from Moorfeilds TraingStation or Ten minutes from Linm St Train Station.
