DARKHER is a haunting trip through the mind and spirit of founding member Jayn Maiven whose powerful music is characterised by doom-laden riffs, spine tingling vocals, soul baring songs, layered with storm clouds of lead and bowed guitars. Maiven's music is as captivating and brooding as the sepia, windswept West Yorkshire moors from where it comes. Her eerie and at times even sinister sonic storytelling comes refined on every level and with sharpened contrasts that reflect the ongoing learning-process of their creator.

DEAD SPACE CHAMBER MUSIC are a gothic, experimental doom group based in the South West of England. They reinterpret historical material, taking musical forms and melodies that are hundreds of years old and shaping them into varied contemporary works with an archaic ceremonial feel. The band's music incorporates improvisation and 'found sounds', with vocals spanning medieval English and French, Latin, and Welsh. They use post-industrial and avant-classical approaches to rework sacred and secular works - chiefly chant and dance tunes - to create captivating, atmospheric and emotionally resonant performances.

WARLOCKHUNT are a three-piece doom band - consisting a novel structure of solo vocals, two bass guitars and drums. Their chthonic, low frequency alchemy creates a solemn and hypnotic atmosphere of misery and dread.

Dark Earth presents... is a series of live events which celebrate the most potent dark folk, gothic, drone, and atmospheric ritual music being created today.
