Supporting a Safer Liverpool

Over the past year, Liverpool Nightlife CIC, led by John Hughes, has delivered a city-wide safety campaign aimed at improving the wellbeing of everyone enjoying Liverpool’s nightlife.

Working in partnership with Salamanca Training, more than1,500 night-time economy workershave received life-saving training in:

• CPR
• Defibrillator (AED) use
• Catastrophic bleed control

The campaign has also enabledhundreds of city centre venuesto joinHopsy, Liverpool’s locally developed safety app, providing free staff training in:

• Ask for Angela
• Anti-spiking awareness
• Managing incidents safely and effectively

A Special Launch on the Night

As part of the celebrations, we will officially unveil Liverpool’s newCity Centre Safety Bus. Operating every weekend in the city centre, the bus will provide immediate first aid, welfare support, and assistance to visitors, helping make nights out in Liverpool even safer.
