They were unavailable for comment, so we went through their bins and found the following statement: "Merlo are a four piece aspiring industry plant, hoping that one of their dads will soon become the owner of Domino Records. Until then, or until someone says John Peel would have liked them, and they record their second album in LA, losing all of their authenticity, they'd be grateful if you'd come to a gig."
