About

In 1949, one name dominated the headlines: Bruno Groening. Newspapers printed special editions. Radio and newsreels covered the phenomenon. Wherever he appeared, thousands gathered in the hope of finding help. At the Traberhof in Rosenheim, up to 30,000 people assembled daily.

Many were not followers, but individuals seeking relief - worn down by the aftermath of war, having received no help elsewhere. They longed to be free from suffering. Bruno Groening offered words of encouragement and spoke of reconnecting to a higher power. He famously said: “There is no incurable – God is the greatest physician.”

At the time, numerous individuals described remarkable improvements in their well-being. These reports, widely documented in the media, inspired both hope and controversy.
