Poor organisation. Security only checked tickets.  Attendees got in with food and drink. Against organisers rules.  Car parking tickets not checked. My event merged with Country festival at last minute. VIP area opened to everyone to get more people involved. Music poor. Same artists appeared in different tribute acts. Many prolonged gaps between performances. Limited choice of food and drink. Tea van was closed by 4.30 pm.
'Funfair' was practically non existant. 
I booked 9 tickets and 3 car parking passes. I heard 3 ABBA songs, sung by other artists and no Beatles songs at all. The reason for booking was to celebrate my birthday with family and friends with music we all enjoyed. Queen tribute was the only good thing about the whole event.
A complete waste of money!

We were told it would be a country fair, there was nothing country about it, all acts that were promised were cancelled and we have not been offered any compensation, it was terribly organised too

Review of Outdoor Country Music Festival - Ipswich!

I paid for 4 VIP tickets.  for this price we were sold, own area, bar and loo's.
all we got was VIP access to the front of the stage which was then completely taken away.
no private bar,  you were in an endless queue with the rest of the festival, no private loo's or food vendors.  we tracked down the events manager, Natalie, who took my e-mail address to contact through skiddle to arrange a refund.  I took her mobile of which just goes to answer phone and have not returned my calls left.
not happy as I spent £197.86 (£48 each) when other for normal entry, spent £17 -£22 for the same service.  I expect a refund of the difference form Skiddle as I bought my tickets from them.

Review of Save The Rave: Outdoor 90's Festival - Ipswich!

Good: Great music/stage/lighting but not sure why the front of the stage area was fenced off for the first few hours? Also the toilets were kept pretty decent, no portaloos! Proper toilet block. No riff raff and fights every half hour as most events end up with when drink (and drugs) are involved - great vibes from a majority crowd of millennial people! Still a good mix of ages and the youngens didn't seem any trouble that I saw!

Not so good: one main bar with about 6 servers, seperated into 3 queue areas, each with 2 lines - got confusing once at the front. Queues didn't seem to move. Drinks were extortionately over priced, even the water, on a day in full sun, 30°, with people drinking lots of alcohol. The water ran out about 7:30pm as well!!! Water should have been cheap or free, a free tap option if possible. Hydration is more important in the sun and when drinking! We queued 1hr 45mins to get our first round (only 2 of us but quickly realised we'd need to order as much as we could carry, so we could actually enjoy the event, instead standing in a queue under the sun). This is what a lot were doing so then it took longer as the servers were making more drinks in between customers.
Lots of people leaving the even early because of the poor queuing system/waits. One food option - again really expensive and not much choice. Wasn't clear if we could bring our own unless I missed where it said you could. Saw some with picnics? Not enough bins at all, saw a litter picker once and we actually all went round helping him near where we were as there was so much. Ended up dancing on plastic cups, bottles etc for the whole evening part.


Shame as it looked and seemed a promising ecent at a great venue for something like this, nice mix of ages and outfits etc. Great dj sets. Great potential if these negatives were corrected for the next event or a return here in Ipswich next year, to make it a more enjoyable day. 

Tips: More bars and stock, more food choice,  some people applying face and hair glitter, few more 90s props and decor, photo opportunity scenes, big bins and lots of them. More locals involved with festival vibes merch/memorabilia, props to sell.

Absolutely diabolical festival. Organisation was non existent, 3 food stalls that were hugely overpriced, £18 for a burger, £5 for chips and the beer tent, well what can I say, ran out of pint pots half an hour after opening....ran out of draught lager and cider an hour after opening and prices were higher than Glastonbury!! Music was not good either, didn't bother hanging around for very long. Very disappointing and waste of money!

What an absolute disgrace. So the first picture is what the event was advertised for and charged adults extra to go on these big assault courses. The second picture is what was actually there on the day 🤦‍♀️ and the 3rd as you can see the event organiser emailed me when I was there to confirm I'll be getting a refund and of course they are not replying to emails.  You should be ashamed not oy doing this to families that were looking foward to a fun filled day as advertised but to also take money and rip people off is disgusting. Resolve this before trading standards get involved.

Rubbish not as described only two places to get food £18 for burger and chips!!! Long breaks between acts so badly organised

Waste of money , falsely advertised more band we didn't see, couldn't find much information about the day.
It said no food to be brought in, and when we got in some public had got in with their own food .
Only to see only 2 food stalls .
The one we we for didn't know what they were doing laughing away not bothered about the queue waiting.
No food handling qualifications as burning  all the sausages .
Ordered the chilli and nachos and whilst stood there watching one of the food handlers stood face towards me with his hand down his trousers  for sometime, food came the chilli was cold ! 
Asked for refund and told them the 2 reasons why we wanted this and just didn't believe me!
Absolute joke from start to finish
Never going again.
Shame on you!

The artists themselves were ok, but the venue was late in opening as in letting us through the gates, they were late in starting with the music, they only had one food station that was ridiculously priced and over the top, beer tent had run out of beer within starting cause couldn't be bothered to top up after festival from day before and in the end had to go to local supermarket to get some. No ice-cream van for kids and really hot day, noting really for them to help keep them cool and not overly much to keep entertained when artists weren't on . Event was ok, but it needs serious improvement and actually have all rhe artists they were advertising there and not just handful. Need to be alot  better if they doing this again and better thought of.

Could do with more bar stuff.

More free water on site

I really enjoyed the overall experience - the music and atmosphere were fantastic! However, the event started and ended too early. Since it was such a hot day, arriving from the beginning was difficult, and unfortunately, there was no shade available to escape the sun. A later start or some shaded areas would have made it much more comfortable.
