Black Tongue Events makes it's Hull debut this April at O’Rileys, bringing you some of the very best heavy acts from Hull, Scunthorpe, and further afield.

We’re opening up the floor at O’Rileys with pure chaos and crushing riffs. This is set to be a special night and a major step forward for Black Tongue Events, who are already making serious waves across the Humber region.
Expect high energy, heavy pits, and a night built for the underground.

Scunthorpe’s own nu-metal wrecking crew. Delivering groove-laden riffs, raw aggression, and chaotic live energy, Narka bring pure metal violence from start to finish. Absolutely unmissable.

Darkened Void 20:40 - 21:10
Rising out of Hull with a female‑fronted melodic death metal assault, Darkened Void bring raw ferocity sharpened to a point. They’re already ripping through the local scene with crushing breakdowns and unrelenting intensity. They hit the stage at 8:40 PM You don't want to miss this set!

Biomech 21:15 - 21:50
Leeds deathcore pushing beyond genre limits! Fusing the crushing weight of modern extreme metal with technical precision and ambient, cinematic atmospheres. Expect dissonant riffs, relentless rhythm shifts, and a live set that is chaotic, immersive, and meticulously constructed.

Rillington Place 22:00 - 23:00
Alternative metal from West Yorkshire blending nu-metal grit with the weight of doom and sludge. Built on aggressive drop-tuned riffs, haunting melodies, and a dynamic mix of harsh and clean vocals. Self described as “gloom and groove,” their sound swings from infectious hooks to crushing breakdowns with purpose.
